About the AI lab: Loggy3 works with an anonymous AI research lab based in San Francisco with a sizable presence. The partner's name is not publicly disclosed. The lab develops AI models that can use computers, navigate software, and complete tasks. Participants' recordings contribute examples of real computer use to help train the next generation of these models.

Why everyday computer use is valuable: screen recordings show what is on the display, while keyboard and mouse inputs show the actions taken. Together, they provide examples of how people interact with software, such as navigating menus, organizing files, and switching between apps. Participants are compensated for eligible active recording time because these demonstrations are useful training data. They can choose activities they are comfortable sharing and do not need to follow a task script.

Current eligibility and earnings:

- Available in Kenya to participants over 18.
- Supports macOS, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
- The current rate is $0.50 USD per hour of eligible active recording time, capped at 10 paid hours per day.
- Active time involves computer inputs such as typing and clicking. Idle time and bot-generated activity do not count. The app automatically pauses after a period of inactivity and shows recording status and active time.
- There is no minimum number of hours participants must record each day.
- Payments, including the first payment, are processed at the end of the calendar month through Dots. Processing takes a few days.
- Dots emails a payout link to collect payment details securely and let participants choose an available local withdrawal method.
- There is no minimum withdrawal amount or payout fee. Support can confirm an individual payment's status.

Recording and control: Loggy3 records the screen, computer inputs, and network and hardware metadata. A recording may capture personal information displayed on the screen or entered while recording. Participants can stop recording before opening private content. After stopping, an upload delay allows them to delete an accidental recording before it uploads. Is Loggy3 legitimate? Yes. Loggy3 pays you for helping train AI to use computers.
